Hello! Today I wanted to share a little recap of the event I attended last week with Comcast in San Francisco. It was so exciting to meet other influencers and learn about how Comcast is preparing for the biggest soccer championship in the world. It’s always an exciting time of year when summer is officially here, and we all get to enjoy the excitement of soccer. The event held place in a smart home in San Francisco, very Silicon Valley. We entered into a beautiful home and were welcomed by the Comcast team. They had a full day of pampering stored for us. There were mojitos, and lot’s of delicious food. On top of all that we also had massages waiting for us, a makeup artist, a hair braiding station and a selfie booth! Talk about having a great Tuesday right?
In between all the pampering we were shown a presentation showcasing all the new features Comcast will be offering in light of the soccer games this summer. There were lot’s of features that I really loved! My favorite was being able to track your favorite team and set reminders for each of the games. You know my family is rooting for Mexico, so that’s the team we are tracking. They play tomorrow, and the game is at 8 am, we’re making a delicious breakfast and watching the game with the entire family. That’s the one thing I love about soccer, it unites people. It doesn’t matter what team you are rooting soccer brings people together, and that’s what it’s all about!
Comcast also handed us with a backpack full of goodies. In the bag there was a remote control with voice activation. Voice commands are available in Spanish! X1 will integrate all live coverage from Telemundo and FOX with full-game replays, highlights, web video, real-time analytics and on-screen player and team stats. This was just amazing to see because they update the bracket as the games end to keep you updated with the latest information!
Now if you’re a busy bee, and cannot watch the games on your television, the mobile app is perfect if you’re on the go! The app allows you to easily record games, watch them live, and catch up on all the action. They honestly did such a great job to give you an app that looks exactly like your television screen, plus its user-friendly.
Comcast integrated an entire section for the soccer championship this summer, and you’ll be able to view historical soccer moments, DVR highlights in case you miss a game, interviews, and so much more. In case you haven’t checked it out, I encourage you to do so because it’s only going to get more exciting as the weeks pass by with the soccer games. It’s so much fun seeing who advances, and each game is filled with unpredictability which makes it even more exciting.
