Oatmeal Pancakes (Vegan Substitute Also Included)

 

Oatmeal Pancakes

This is my go-to recipe for pancakes, my husband absolutely loves them! We make them weekly, and they are made using the purest ingredients. As always cook with organic ingredients if you can. Nourish your body with nutrients instead of focusing on calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1/2 or 1 cup Organic Almond Milk
  • 1 splash Organic Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder (without aluminum)
  • 1/2 tsp Organic Cinnamon
  • 2 Cage-Free Eggs
  • 1/2 Organic Banana

Caramelized Bananas

  • 1 Organic Banana
  • 1/2 tbsp Organic Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil

Vegan Substitute

  • 1 tbsp Organic FlaxSeed Meal
  • 3 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Vegan Substitute: mix flaxseed meal and water and let it sit for about 3-5 minutes 

    Mash up banana with a fork or a beater, then add all the ingredients. 

    Mix well, add or subtract almond milk depending on how thick you want your pancakes 

    Caramelized Bananas 

    Cut bananas in slices 

    Add coconut oil in a separate pan, once the pan is hot add bananas 

    Cook for about 30 seconds to a minute then turn 

    Sprinkle cinnamon on top of them.

Top with Agave, Blueberries, and Sliced Almonds.
