I’m so excited to share details of our trip this past weekend with you. We had such an amazing time in So Cal. We were fortunate enough to have partnered up with Toyota to drive their brand new 2018 Toyota Highlander. Currently we’re in the search for a family car. I definitely underestimated how much space a baby takes up in the car. With all the extras like the stroller, car seat, diaper bag, play backpack our cargo space tends to fill up quickly. We traveled down south with my best friend, little brother Diego and Alessandro. My husband had to work Friday night so he took a flight the next day to meet us. We were attending my little brothers first out of the city soccer tournament. I’m a total soccer sister and my husband is so supportive with my little brother. We are also his God parents, so he’s very special to us. My dad was undergoing surgery last week and we decided to take Diego so he wouldn’t miss out on the opportunity. He plays with a competitive team, and make sure he is always there even when my parents can’t make it.
As we were getting ready to head out we were able to fit all our bags and the baby’s stroller, a soccer chair and a soccer bag in the cargo space. One of the many features the Toyota Highlander has is its cargo space. I love being able to have enough space for everything without compromising space in the car. The other feature I loved was how it had a little television in the back. My little brother was able to watch movies while the baby slept. It also had USB ports for us to charge the phone and listen to our music playlists. We were bumping Bruno Mars the whole way. One of the most important features it also had was its safety sense. When we were driving if I forgot to use my signal it would alert me, and also if you’re unintentionally drifting it’ll automatically make steering inputs to help keep you in the lanes.
After driving the car, we’re definitely going to look into making a purchase. I felt comfortable driving and most importantly I fell in love with its features and safety sense. After having a baby all you think about is their safety and comfort. I feel like not only is Toyota a trusted brand, but they truly are offering the best for their customers.
