Name Reveal + OOTD

Hola a tod@s! I hope you’re having a great week so far. Lately I’ve been feeling like the weeks are just flying by. I am 2 weeks away from entering my third trimester, and we are just so excited to meet Alessandro.

So we decided to name our baby boy Alessandro Glastoni Hernandez. When you first get pregnant you will constantly be asked 3 questions ALL the time, one of them being how far along are you? Second, is it a boy or a girl? Third, do you have a name yet? We didn’t want to stress over names until we found out what we were having. Alessandro came about from me loving the name Alessio. A few years ago I studied abroad and went backpacking with my best friend throughout Europe. When we were in Florence, Italy one of our servers at a restaurant was named Alessio, and I just loved the name. I told my bestie, I’m going to name my son that one day. Fast forward three years later, my husband and I were researching names and came across Alessandro which is similar to Alessio. The meaning of Alessandro is protector of mankind, which I thought was a powerful meaning.

Now, for the middle name, Glastoni is my father in law’s middle name. My husband was also really close to his grandfather who passed away when my husband was a teenager, and his nickname was Toni. We wanted to honor my father in law and my husbands grandpa. 🙂

About this look, everything I am wearing is non-maternity. I’m surprised I still fit into some of my clothes. This cute colorful kimono is from SheIn, which can match with so many things especially for the spring and summer.
