Updated Curly Hair Routine

Hola! Today I wanted to share with you my updated curly hair routine since I’ve been getting tons of questions regarding what products I use. I’ve been on this curl discovery for about 1 year now, and I haven’t bleached my hair in about a year. I love my blonde hair, but I just wanted to go more natural. The most important thing to do when trying to recover your curls is to use less heat. Also try to avoid bleaching your hair. Now I just get my roots touched up and I’m letting my blonde grow out without cutting it off.
The first thing I do is wash my hair with Shea Moisture shampoo & conditioner, this shampoo in particular is sulfate-free. I also apply a hair mask once a week for extra moisture. Then I dry my hair with a micro-fiber towel or a 100% cotton t-shirt. Usually I’ll use one of my husbands shirts which he gets super upset about lol, so I just recently purchased my own special towel.

I then spray my hair with Carol’s Daughter leave in conditioner, this one is amazing because it’s light on my curls.

Second, I apply Deva Curl styling cream all over, but only a small amount.
After applying the cream, I use Deva Curl gel, again only a small amount since I don’t want it to weigh down my curls. After applying all the products, I use a towel and kinda blend all those products together while drying my hair. Using a blow dryer with a diffuser I use cool air to dry my hair, this usually takes 20-25 minutes.
