Hello Lovelies!! I wanted to share with you this outfit, wearing one of my favorite colors: black. This entire outfit cost me under $60! I love buying budget friendly clothing and today I decided to share with you some of my shopping tips and tricks. Some of my favorite stores include: ZARA, Forever 21, H&M, and I’m always looking into their sales racks. ZARA has huge sales every 3-4 months and so does H&M. For me it doesn’t matter the brand, if it looks cute then I’ll rock it!
Check out some tips:
1. Poshmark
One more place that I shop at often is POSHMARK. It’s an application where people can sell and buy used and new items. You can also filter it so search for brand new items with tags. These shoes are from ZARA and I bought them on POSHMARK for $25, and they were brand new. You can find some awesome stuff for 1/2 the price! If you love shoes like I do this place is definitely a great place to buy affordable name brand stuff.
2. Sales
If you see something you like, but it doesn’t fit your budget check back in 6 weeks. Usually stores will put things on sale in 42 days. I do this ALL the time! Let’s face it…shopping gets expensive and sometimes our budget does not allow for us to buy the things we like. So set your alarm and check back in about a month or so.
3. Discount Codes
Before buying anything either online or at the store, open up your browser and type in the stores name _____ discount codes. You’ll see a bunch of options come up so just search and see if you see anything that applies to your purchase. Yes, this is one thing I do often, especially while shopping online. “Forever 21 Discount Code” and you’ll see codes of sometimes 30% off your entire purchase. I’ve saved some good money by doing this! Try it out 🙂
4. Subscribe to Emails
If you love shopping like I do, there are many retailers who offer to discounts if you subscribe to their email list. Check it out before making your purchase, you’ll at least get 20% off one item (H&M does this).
5. Dig into Racks
Digging into the sales racks can save you major money. Don’t be afraid to dig and search for deals. I do this a lot and find some adorable items for as low as $3! Each store has their little sections, so next time go and explore it!
