Hello lovelies! Here is the second look of my Valentine’s Day look book. Anything striped, I love, and this dress is definitely a classic. The thing I love most is the split in the middle which allows you to walk comfortably. What convinced me to buy this dress were the sleeves! They’re comfy and the perfect length. Add a red lipstick to give it a pop of color and you’re set to go!
So I wanted to share with you some date night ideas or tips for Valentine’s Day. My husband and I had a funny situation happen to us a few years ago, when we were engaged. We went out to dinner at this semi-fancy restaurant in downtown San Jose. We arrived, sat down and were handed a “special menu” which included a higher fixed price on our dinners. Trying to play it cool we enjoyed our dinner and we were hit with a $350 check. Valentine’s Day is such a cute way to show your significant other how much you care for them, but my husband and I keep it low-key now. He either cooks dinner for me or we go out a few days before the actual date. But one thing I do always love is receiving flowers, I mean who doesn’t right?
Tips & Ideas:
– Guys, you should take the time and cook your lady a nice dinner. This will help you score some major points.
– Instead of buying an expensive gift, try making something like a scrapbook or an album of memories. A gift that comes from the heart is much more fulfilling.
– Guys or Gals leave notes in your significant others’ cars or desk, maybe even flowers or chocolates. This will keep the excitement going throughout the day.
– Create a scavenger hunt that leads to a special dinner or event.
