Madrid, España {Part 2}

The second half of Madrid
We started with a walking tour of the city.
Miguel de Cervantes, the writer of the famous “Don Quixote” lived on this street! I read that book in high school (took AP Spanish) and this book was an important part of our course so to be standing in the same grounds was truly an amazing experience!

The same day we took a trip to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeau where Real Madrid plays.
We had the tour tickets and had the opportunity to see the entire stadium. ALTHOUGH I am a loyal Barcelona fan being able to see the stadium was a really cool thing. We walked through their history section saw information about the players and then had a chance to walk on the field.

The locker rooms of the players.
To be continued…
