Holiday Attire + Timeless Jewelry

Hello loves!! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! I wanted to share with you my holiday attire and also share with you a story about the pearls I am wearing. Midi skirts are a big trend this season and since I am pretty short (5’2″) I was a bit hesitant as to whether I would be able to pull it off or not. I finally found this skirt on asos and decided to order it! When it came in the zipper was broken and it fit way too big. I had some alterations done to it and it fit perfectly! I did not want to take away from the essence of the skirt so I paired it with a simple black sweater (h&m) and some cute statement heels (jeffrey campbell).

For the jewelry, I wanted something timeless and classy. These pearls were given to me by my husband almost 7 years ago on our first Christmas together. Right after I opened the gift on Christmas morning he explained to me why he gave me pearls. He said,”I decided to give you these pearls because I know they would match with everything and you can wear them to work or to go out.” I thought wow this guy is pretty clever 🙂 Pearls are a necessity in every girls jewelry box. They are truly timeless and can be worn with any outfit.
