Hello Everyone! After a month of not blogging, finally I am back! I’ve been so busy this past month with meetings, projects, getting ready for grad school, and moving. I haven’t had anytime to blog. I’m finally all settled and winding down from the craziness.
I am so happy with all the pieces of clothing I’m wearing in this OOTD. First off, I am completely obsessed with this ZARA skort. I purchased it in both white and black.
I decided to pair it with a simple, but bold tee. My husband performed at the SJ Taco Fest (which I blogged about as well) and there was a local clothing store that was selling these “E$$J” tees. As soon as I saw them, I just had to buy one. I was born and raised in Eastside San Jose, and I am very proud of where I came from. The “E$$J” means Eastside San Jose, and to me it represents struggle, strength and ambition. Struggling to grow up in not the best conditions, and having the strength to overcome the stereotypes and lastly ambition to simply want more from life. To obtain and education and make a difference. This tee just went much deeper than most people would imagine.
Now from a fashion standpoint, pairing it with this skort, definitely gave my outfit a statement. Also the lipstick I am wearing is from Rihanna’s MAC summer collection. I will be posting a review of the products soon (ps: I LOVE LOVE them all).
